Thank you for considering Element YMCA Skate Camp as your summer destination. It is a true skateboarder’s paradise. For 24 years, Element YMCA Skate Camp has enriched campers lives by providing a safe environment that encourages friendship, communication, laughter, personal growth and, of course, skateboarding. Our program provides a variety of activities throughout the day to insure that there is never a dull moment at Skate Camp. Each action packed day will be spent skateboarding with new friends, fun activities, swimming and laughing. Daily skate activities include instructional skate time, skate contests for all skill levels of skaters and lots of free skate. Skate Camp has a world-class skate park in a peaceful setting with perfect weather. Campers spend their evenings laughing at campfire antics while performing skits with their cabin mates. At night, campers attend question and answer sessions with visiting pros. Exhausted, campers go to sleep after a thoughtful cabin group discussion led by their counselor.

Each of our hand picked staff members share the vision of camp with pride and enthusiasm. The result is a wholesome camp experience that provides campers with memories that last a lifetime. In addition to receiving intensive leadership and safety training, every counselor is an excellent skateboarder and skateboard instructor that can teach whatever new tricks campers may be working on. In case of any mishap, there is a licensed medical person on the premises 24 hours a day.

2007 was the biggest year to date for Element YMCA Skate Camp. Over 700 campers from around the world spent a week with us and had the time of their life. This year will be even better with new additions to the street course as well as a remodeling of Element Land. I’ll see you at Skate Camp this summer.
