RATES: A $795__ B $735__ C $675
Why three prices to choose from? Because families have differing abilities to pay, we have a voluntary 3-tier pricing program. Please read the rate de-scriptions below and determine which rate best suits your family’s ability to pay.
Rate A—represents the actual cost camp including direct expenses and long-term wear and tear.
Rate B—is a partially subsidized rate.
Rate C—is our historically subsidized rate. Donations to the YMCA help keep this cost affordable, however, Rate C does not cover the true cost of camp.
100% of the proceeds from A & B rates fund facility replacements and improvements.
This program is voluntary (you choose the tier) and in no way influences the quality of experience each child receives. As always, additional financial assistance is available through our Campership program.
Campers registering for two or more consecutive sessions can stay over between sessions for an nominal fee. Add $75 for each “holdover” between consecutive sessions.
TRANSPORTATION
Parents are welcome to deliver and pick up their child at camp or use our shuttle service one way or round trip from Fresno. A charter bus or YMCA van picks up and delivers from the Fresno Airport, Greyhound and Amtrak terminals for campers traveling by air, bus or train. Shuttle service
from the Fresno Airport is also available for parents who wish to drop off or pick up their camper in Fresno. The fee for shuttle service is $35 each way.
CAMPER REQUIREMENTS
YMCA Skate Camp accepts boys and girls ages 8 to 17. Campers are placed in cabins based on age and gender. Each cabin holds 7 campers and a counselor. Required items for attending Skate Camp are: a skateboard, 2 elbow pads, 2 knee pads, sleeping bag, pillow, warm clothing and spending money. The rules for acceptance are the same for everyone without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex or handicap. A limited number of sessions are open to girls this year, ensuring full cabins and complete camp experience.
